Plastic People

In this world of men and women/when life just isn't worth living/people crowd you from all sides/you're the one who needs a guide.

People staring you in the eye/
trying to see if you don't lie/don't be yourself, you have to conform/then they say you weren't even born.

If this my friend is happening to you/and you
don't know where to run or what to do/Take these plastic people, take them by the hand/Twist them bend them, it's your turn to take a stand.

Tell them that you want to be/
not a slave but someone free/To live in a world of peace and love/Where no one is below, no one is above.

Where people can walk hand in hand/
There is harmony, not hate, all over this land.

Yes my brothers and sisters,
I would do this/
The plastic people cannot persist/They have no real convictions, no real mind/That is why, you must strike them blind.

You have to be free/
to live like you want to be.
